How do we engage the public with flooding solutions?
Floods are rarely discussed across society. However, due to the frequency of extreme weather events, there is a growing awareness that the climate is changing. In addition, consumers desire ‘smart homes’ that are self-reliant and utilise clean energy. Therefore, promoting flood resilience as one of a suite of climate actions that citizens can undertake to protect their homes, increases awareness of the subject and creates a bigger platform for marketing flood solutions.
